| HERO RP NEW SYSTEMGood, Bad and NeutralWe appoint three admins to be one of each, the admins get to control the passive groups of Mobs, which mobilize whenever they find an enemy that is against their code of beliefs. - System: Plot spear:
This occurs whenever a character does an action that the public sees or is deemed logically fallible, kind of like a renown number; the higher the number the more likely your hideout/headquarters are going to be revealed by the system, the more likely you are to be attacked by the passive groups controlled by the three admins. This can be averted by conscientiously shifting the public's view of the character subtly, though it will still build up the renown number. Basically the more "in view" you are, no matter how well your hideout is hidden, it will be eventually revealed, the speed is determined by the number. How the number is calculated: The action you are doing (Y) Multiplied by the absurdity and harm it brings to the public or your image (Z) (This also includes any PR done against you by other characters) Add the two numbers together and plug that into a cap of 200, if the number breaches 100 then the possibility of your hideout being revealed during your next set of actions increases by at least 50%, depending on what action you will do. I.e: Y x Z = 150/200 = 75% chance of reveal. This number can be lowered by good PR or subtly altering public opinion about yourself (though the % chance still applies to this course of action, though it is halved: 75% -> 37.5% chance to be revealed) The PR will reduce the number somewhat, depending on what action is taken (X) I.e: 150/200 - X(say x is 25) = 125/200 = 60% chance of being spotted via actions.
- System: Timed Plot Armor:
Timed plot armor is something that is needed, before the system (or character) reveals the hideout to the public, it can not be revealed or attacked by other players or mobs naturally (The character can be tailed back to the hideout and it CAN be revealed then) not much more to this, characters CAN be KILLED BY OTHERS so choose your fights wisely.
Moving on - The good:
The good is any government agency against villains and vigilantes that hurt others, any association associated with the government against villains. Can be but is not limited to: Police, Army, Secret service, National guard, Interspacial defense forces. These are peacekeepers, they fight for justice and are a heroes friend.
- The bad:
The bad is any group of individuals with a hierarchy or motive to move against the heroes and forces of good. Can be but is not limited to: Street thugs, Mafia, Government (corrupt), Low tier villains, vigilantes against heroes.
- The ugly (neutral):
The ugly (neutral) is any group of individuals against others with powers, or mutations that make them different, they generally leave everyone else alone but when someone with powers is revealed, you better watch out. Can be but is not limited to: Anti-power radicals, People against heroes association (PAHA), general renegade mutants who are unhappy with the world, anarchists.
- Reasons for mobilizing:
- The good:
Perhaps the police were tipped off about a villain housing around their jurisdiction, perhaps the government has found out about a villain hive in their country, naturally the army will be sent with hot force to attack the evil, if they are in fact evil (Subtle hint that other characters can throw public opinion around and invert black and white).
- The bad:
Perhaps the local vigilante's place of residence has been leaked into the sewer system that is the local street, only natural that local street rats report the location of the pesky vigilante, that has been spoiling cocaine shipments and beating up your men, to the mafia; armed with this knowledge, the mafia use their wide knowledge and connections to set up an anti-hero plan against this enemy.
- The ugly (neutral):
Perhaps you come home after a long day of protesting powers and signing petitions to allow the government to ban powers, only to find out you've been living next to a mutant this entire time; you are disgusted and rally the local community against powers and mutants and storm the home, attacking anything with powers or that you deem as an enemy.
- Reasons for mobilizing (all three):
In rare situations can all three mobilize against one particular individual or group of individuals, those situations include: National threat, Someone trying to take over the country, or war.
- Plot spear values:
The values will be split as follows: Low, Medium, High, National - Low:
This may include some simple things: shoplifting, mugging, slandering someone on tv. The values for each of these is low, ranging from 5-10 on the renown number.
- Medium:
This may include some more complex things: Home robbery, vandalism, Damaging someone's reputation in front of the public. The values for each of these is medium, ranging from 15-30 on the renown number.
- High:
This may include some very complex things such as: Murder, terrorism, Grand theft auto. The values for each of these is High, ranging from 35-60 on the renown number.
- National:
This may include some things that put the nation in danger: Nuclear detonation, Invasion of a country, Declaration of war. The values for each of these is national, ranging from 65-150 on the renown number. Please note: there can be and are more crimes or actions for each value, these are just an example of the degree of intensity, thank you.
